The first Christmas divorced can be a devastating thing for some, especially when it seems like all you see is togetherness all around you. If you do it right, though, that first holiday season after your divorce or breakup doesn’t really have to suck. Here’s how to make the most of your first Christmas divorced and actually enjoy it.

Tip #1

Plan a dinner party.

You will probably get asked to attend a Christmas dinner but don’t go! Even though it is a tempting thought, you know that at some point someone will be bring up the divorce conversation.

So why not host your very own a dinner party with some of your single friends? Make sure to keep it stress free – so if you love to cook do it, but if not have it catered.  Make sure your guests know its a no-divorce zone. There will be no talking about exes at this holiday dinner party. If you want to survive that first Christmas divorced, and the ones that follow, you need to make it all about you.

Tip #2

Pleasure yourself on Christmas morning.

What better way to get yourself out of the Christmas Morning Blues than to masturbate them away? It is a known fact that orgasms release the endorphins dopamine and oxytocin, which can improve your mood and create a natural high. You don’t have to worry about being naughty for Santa – I think he will approve some self loving.

Tip #3

Get out of town.

Spend your first Christmas divorced somewhere totally new. Getting away for a little while can do you some good this time of year, especially if you just need an escape from all the post-divorce reminders. It’s okay to take a break from the real world and enjoy an island getaway or a sexy ski slope. Plan it with friends or go solo. Who knows?
